Jong Stit's recycled polyester fabric is a sustainable choice in the textile industry, made from recycled plastic bottles and pre-consumer textile waste. Through a careful process of collection, sorting, cleaning and shredding, the waste materials are transformed into small flakes. These flakes are then melted and extruded into recycled polyester yarn, which is knitted into recycled polyester fabric. By repurposing waste, Jong Stit reduces the demand for new resources and helps divert waste from landfills, promoting a circular and eco-friendly textile production process. Our recycled polyester fabric is certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), which verifies recycled content through an audited chain of custody from input material to finished fabric.
