Fleece

Fleece is a synthetic fabric, which is made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Therefore, when we talk about fleece we usually refer to “Polyester Fleece.” The original type of fleece fabric was made to mimic wool, so it is an alternative of real fur products. Fleece fabric is super soft, warm, durable, and breathable. It is perfect for making blankets, throws, gloves, scarves, jackets, and all things cozy.
It has become more and more popular especially in blankets, for its being inexpensive and colorful. Furthermore, it is warmer and much lighter than wool.
The first form of synthetic man-made fleece fabric was made in 1981 by a company namely Malden Mills. Fleece fabric was called Synchilla (synthetic chinchilla), and was widely used in sports and outdoor clothing.
1 .Knitting Process
After the chips are melted into a polyester fiber, the polyester fiber is knitted in a "circular knitting machine," which produces a fabric roll.
